How Can TRP Help?
The Regeneration Project offers several programs to meet the needs of the community, but before anyone can enroll in our programs, they must undergo an assessment so that the staff at TRP can assess their individual needs and devise a unique curriculum to help them achieve their goals. The assessment consists of the following:
- Academic Standing (evaluate report cards)
- Psychological
- Academic
- Skills, Interest and Abilities
- Other testing as needed
Programs and Services
The programs and services offered by TRP are designed to meet the diverse needs of teens and young ladies in the community. Whether facing teenage motherhood, aspiring to be debutantes, seeking careeer planning and direction, looking to build life skills (coooking, money management, health, effective communication, etc), or desiring to explore/enhance talents and skills, TRP assists young ladies in their pursuit of knowledge. TRP also offers Parental Support and Etiquette training.
De'butante Programs
To understand all that a De'butante Program encompasses, it is necessary to understand the premise of the debutante. De'butante is a term coined from the French which means female beginner. The De'butante is introduced into society as a young woman ready to take her place in society. She is a person of class, well mannered, temperant, and knowledgeable of a broad range of subjects. She is learned and refined. She is cultured and exudes confidence in all she does because she knows who she is. The De'butante Programs offered by TRP is not based on wealth or social status, but TRP seeks to develop the traits of a de'butante in all participants regardless of social or economic status.

Pre-De'butante Program
The Pre-De'butante Program is designed for pre-teens and teens ages 12-15. This program serves as a preparatory program to the De'butante Program and focuses on issues specific to this age group. It also provides training and mentoring essential to the foundation of the De'butante Program and makes the transition smoother. - De'butante Program
The De'butante Program is designed for teens ages 16-18. This program builds upon skills and training acquired during the Pre-De'butante program. It also introduces new topics and presents information to young ladies who are embarking on their lifes' journey. In this program, teens will obtain tools essential to sound decision making. Regardless of how they enter the program, they will emerge as swans, ready to grace the world with their presence.
Fresh Start Program
The Fresh Start Program is a program designed for teens and young ladies ages 13-18 that are teenage mothers, high school dropouts, emancipated minors, foster care disenrollees or young ladies who have met with circumstances that preclude them from resuming life as a "normal" teenager. The Fresh Start Program was conceived with the notion that young ladies with extenuating cirumstances should get an opportunity for a "do over", a chance to do things differently, maybe make different decision and devise a plan to overcome existing circumstances. It is an intense program of transformation with the goal of helping young ladies overcome barriers.
Success Program
The Success Program is designed for young ladies ages 18-21 who are seeking career and professional guidance. This program provides training and guidance essential for successful indoctrination into the workplace. From mock job interviews to business etiquette to effective communication, this training prepares young ladies to enter the workforce or college with confidence.
Parent Support Program
Because TRP highly encourages parental or guardian involvement, training classes are held for parents concurrently with training of the young participant. These classes address many of the issues parents are facing today. It is our sincere hope, that TRP can remove some of the barriers and hindrances affecting parent/child relationships and encourage open dialogue that leads to growth and development for both parties.
Aim High Program
The Aim High Program is accessible to all of our participants. The primary goal of this program is to help young ladies hone their skills and talents. This program is not based on academics, it is based on abilities. TRP believes that everyone has at least one area where they excel whether it's academics, sports, leadership, crafts, wood-working, housekeeping, poetry etc, the Aim High Program encourgaes participants to discover and nurture their gift(s).
Classy Lady Symposium
The Classy Lady Symposium is an etiquette and refinement course for young ladies that are not eligible to participate in the Pre-De'butante or De'butante Program. Like the Pre-De'butante or De'butante, this program culminates with a formal ball and other events where principle taught during the course will be evaluated. This program is also available for parents who missed the opportunity to be De'butantes.
